The following information is about the printing and mounting options as per my choice of printer.

If you would like to discuss unframed canvas options or alternative paper or mounting, please get in touch. I’m happy to provide a quote for any specific requirements.

METALLIC PEARL

Metallic Pearl Photo Paper is a premium inkjet paper with a unique pearlescent surface finish, designed for use with an inkjet printer. The finish is similar to traditional silver-halide metallic photographic papers and offers exceptional image clarity and brilliant colour reproduction with a cool, high-gloss metallic finish with a blue iridescence.

GICLÉE CANVAS

Giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) is a term created by printmaker Jack Duganne in 1991 to refer to digitally-reproduced fine art prints. … Combined with the finest quality canvas and inks, giclée fine art reproductions rival original artwork in beauty and detail.

ACRYLIC FACEMOUNT

Acrylic facemounting is one of the most impressive and striking ways to display your photographic print.

Your print is mounted behind acrylic and the back is covered with treated aluminium. This process will completely protect your image from front to back. You can choose to have a clear border remaining around the image or you can have your image mounted edge to edge of the acrylic. Each piece is finished off with hand polished edges.

Once hung, your print floats approx 9-17mm off the wall depending on what type of hangers are chosen. We offer 2 types of hangers, split batten or aluminium pipe hanging system.

You can be ensured that you will receive an absolutely perfect, high quality finish. The result is exceptional.

The printers use a 4.5mm Optically Clear Museum Grade Acrylic which has a 100% UV protection. Acrylic is extremely safe to use, as it is shatter resistant and has an excellent resistance to sunlight, weather and either high or low temperatures.
